(Mostly because of some Big CPA Networks) There is a lot of confusion about how affiliates make money from it, and the pricing model can be sort of confusing to the uninitiated. The basic premise is that, CPA pays when a websurfer performs certain actions. This can be something as simple as a zip submit (just entering their zip or postal code) an Email Submit (entering their email for a prize) all the way up to either buying a product or at least paying the shipping for a Free product.

When it comes to making money with CPA offers there are few basics to grasp. By partnering with CPA networks, advertisers will generously reward web publishers to utilize a portion or spot on their website aka virtual real estate in order to reach a targeted group of web visitors. 2009 will long be remembered as the year of the Smackdowns, Crackdown and big ole Google Pimp Slaps. New stricter rules are surfacing for everyone especially in regards to Online Social Networking Sites Etiquette and some of the powerful Web 2.0 sites. No one should be surprised.

They all witnessed a huge surge in their member counts as savvy marketers jumped in. (some with several accounts) As usual however the ever greedy spammers showed up and ruined the party for everybody, like they always do.

Numerous online social networking sites who enjoyed roaring success in recent years bore the brunt of the blow from big daddy google. Mostly they were being punished due to their leniency. It was too hard to catch all the spammers so the social networking sites got the blame, and had to clean up.

Now this  mega search engine slap will be pushed down to me and you. Everyone is tightening up their their belts, chopped the amount of links you can add and flat out restricted certain types of content. Many of the social networking sites even implemented rules and security measures of their own to prevent Google from coming down on them even more harsh future.

Social networking sites used to be a cool way for friends to exchange info, idea and opinions. It’s grown well beyond that lately. These online social networking sites gave marketers a harmless platform that allowed them to go deep into their niche communities. In there they found scads of easy converting traffic, clicks and sales.

If everyone just played nicely in the online sandbox we wouldn’t have all got grounded, and we could have still be riding the free traffic gravy train. Keep the topics on point and the super content flowing is all we had to do. But it’s an inevitable fact that when something hot (like web 2.0) comes along, spammers and the blackhat crew will suck it dry like traffic vampires.

Big social networking sites like Hub Pages, EzineArticles, and Squidoo long since learned their lesson regarding the perils of dancing with unsavory spam tactics that the blackhatters employ.

As we blaze through 2010 the evolution niche-specific social networking sites will gain popularity. Also there will be new ones with broad appeal that cater to many different niche groups internally.Your mission as a Professional Marketer will be to infiltrate these new social networking sites membership areas in a manner that benefits the community. you should think ADD VALUE First, such that you can gain respect. You don’t want to be feared as the “sales” guy/gal or worse yet a leachy spammer.

The upside is that in a effort to monetize their member base online social networking sites like twitter, Squidoo and Facebook are expected to generated over $2 Billion in ad revenue this year. That is great for marketer because we can be the good guy in the chat room but still have our ads professionally displayed on the side. Ads can be served and designated to specific groups. Following them by phone, virtual billboards, wireless kiosks, in stores and hotel lobbies. We are no long forced to chase them only at that their computer.

My other bold prediction is that online social networking sites will be making a BIG LEAP to mobile platforms. Anybody looking for cheap but high converting ad space would do well to carve out some territory over there. The Blackberry, Iphone and Adroid boom coupled with cheap unlimited cell phone plans  has people tweeting and logging on to facebook all day long.

You can easily blend in and become a big part of these tested, proven and cyclical money making opportunities. Educate yourself and move quickly to not only profit from this evolution of social networking sites, but again to stay ahead of the spam gang. You better believe they are crafting their mobile phone onslaught too.

Stephen Pierce Make Real Money on Internet

Stephen Pierce is a very well known and admired INTERNET marketer. He generates in excess of $10 Million annually and seems to have it all. The truth is that it wasn’t always this easy going and rosy for Stephen Pierce.

6 Core Elements of Influence The Psychology of Persuasion

1. Social Proof

People tend to do what the crowd is doing. They figure if most people are all doing the same thing then they should as well.

2. Authority

People make buying decisions more easily when guided or influenced by someone with knowledge or authority in a certain industry. This is why companies use Celebrities as spokespeople.

3. Liking (Know Like Trust)

People will only buy things from people that they Know, Like and Trust. If you want to persuade people to buy from you they need to like and trust you.

4. Reciprocity

People by nature have been trained to reciprocate. If you give something to someone before asking them to buy anything from you they will feel more compelled to buy it now. This is why many marketers give so much Great Free stuff these days.

5. Commitment and Consistency

Stats show that once someone commits to doing something there is a good chance they will follow through. This why you see so many $1 trials showing up everywhere. They know that you will stick around because the deal was check it out for $1 if you like it pay $47 next month.

6. Scarcity

Basic supply and demand theory. “We only have XX amount left and they are selling fast!” People are more motivated by fear of loss than the joy of gain. Scarcity will influence someone to buy rather than “think about it.”

I strongly suggest you get these two books by Robert Cialdini as they will give you a quick education on Influence The Psychology of Persuasion. If you were to just implement and master the six tips that I have outlined in my video you will increase your sales and conversions tremendously.

If you have no influence and if you cannot be persuasive you are just wasting your time online if you are trying to sell anything. People are getting a lot more sophisticated and educated, yet these time honored and proven influence and persuasion techniques have stood the test of time. NLP and hypnosis are also cool to learn but take much more time. Again I suggest you grab these 2 books and learn to have some Influence and persuasion right away.

The first thing you want to accomplish with your blog is to have good content. Many people say that content is king. While that is true a more accurate statement is  Optimized Content is King. After all it makes no sense to have the best blog in the world if no one can find it. So the key to making money online with your blog is to have good content that is also optimized and to have lots of backlinks (votes) confirming that.

Now there are many ways to count the votes that you get through links. Some sites have a high PR which means Google views their links as both valuable and credible. Another type of link is reciprocal (You link to me so I link to you) which is OK but Google just feels like you and your best friend are voting for each other. You could always get good links from “popular” or high traffic sites BUT that is often only good for people clicking over to your site and does NOT necessarily increase your SEO rankings.

The links you may get on the popular sites aren’t good for SEO because they are NO Follow links. Meaning they are giving you a vote but “off the record”. Most sites or wordpress blogs are nofollow because of the great number of spammers out there who try to get backlinks from sites by blasting ten of thousands of spammy porn, medication and gambling links to 1000’s of sites and blogs everyday. By a link being nofollow google will NOT index it and thus not associate your site with these bad ones.

The downside of this is that most of your comments on blogs is not followed and therefor no votes are passed on. Boooo! If you are trying to build some SEO and authority for your site then you want to look for sites that DoFollow. Once you find these sites add some Valuable comments to the blog and if you do you are permitted to leave a backlink to your website as well. This does 3 things. It helps the blog have more activity and content, someone may click on your link to check out your site and Google will count this dofollow link as a positive vote for your site.

Better than just any old site linking back to you with a dofollow backlink, you can power up this whole concept and have a dofollow Blog Directory give you a powerful backlink. Most blog directories out there are nofollow but there are lots of dofollow blog directories now as well.
